The "Choose Life" tags are now available at your local Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) office! Included in the cost of the specialty tag is a personalized tag number, for example “IM4IT.” Be thinking about what additional message you would like to send to the world as you drive around supporting adoption! Personalization of the tag is not mandatory.

If you have not renewed your 2004 tag yet, then you can purchase the “Choose Life” tag for $50 (per year) with no transfer fee. Take your old tag with you to the DMV.

If you have renewed your 2004 tag, you can purchase the “Choose Life” specialty tag at your local DMV. Again, take your old tag with you. Also, you will be charged $1.25 transfer fee since you have already renewed for 2004.
